Some of Taylor Townsend’s best tennis has come since returning from maternity leave, with the American reaching two Grand Slam women’s doubles finals, at the 2022 US Open and at 2023 Roland Garros. On the singles court, she reached a career high of No. 57 in the WTA Rankings in 2024. Townsend was extremely successful as a junior, winning the Australian Open girls’ singles title and holding the junior World No. 1 ranking.
